Julie Ibenfeldt Lindvik
Director

Julie is a trained actor from the Theater Academy in Gothenburg (2009-2012). In 2018, she directed Ofelia’s Desire based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, written by Felicia Ohly, which garnered rave reviews. That same year, Julie wrote and directed the performance Vacationland at the Reykjavik Fringe Festival. In the spring of 2018, she directed and came up with the monologue Solveig, a performance about waiting for Peer, at Westerdals school. This was then performed at Akershus Teater in 2019 and has been invited to the Winter Light Festival at Nordland Teater 2020. In the autumn of 2017, she was assistant director in two productions at Borgarleikhus, Reykjavik, for Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson and Egill Pálsson. She was previously responsible for In Julie’s the living room, an event created to strengthen freelance artists in Oslo. Julie was also one of the initiators behind #stilleforopptak. In the summer of 2019, Julie directed the family show Troll and, and just finished directing THE TRIAL FOR THE WØYEN BOYS, which was an audience success. In the spring of 2020, she is currently performing at the Brageteatret.
