Ina Maria Brekke
Ina Maria is a trained actor who attended the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. After graduating, she was based in London and Los Angeles before moving back to Norway. She was first seen on the theater stage in Norway when she played Pippi in Pippi Longstocking at Haugesund Theater, but has for several years been employed at Kilden Theater in Kristiansand. There she’s played parts such as Lise in Doctor Proctor’s Prom Powder, Liesl in The Sound of Music, Lady Capulet, Mercutio, Ammen and Lorenzo in Romeo and Juliet, dancer in Terje Vigen in Fjæreheia, Siri and Eva in I Want to Wash the World Clean, Sara in Hunger1, Ina Maria in The Side Jumpers, Evelyn in The State of Things, Pia and Gerhard in The Guys in the Christmas Tree House, Meletos in Socrates’ Defense Speech, Keren and Sofie in Helt Privat and She / He in Kristiansand. Now. She has also been involved in the start-up and participated as a Klatremus in Hakkebakkeskogen and Klara at Kutoppen in Kristiansand Zoo. In the autumn of 2019, she moved back to Oslo and is now a freelance actor based there. Since then she has produced and performed Red Rabbit / White Rabbit, directed musical 13 at Teateret in Kristiansand, and starred as Alice in Feil Teater’s Alice in Wonderland, where she was last seen as Melanie in Occupied.
Ina Maria plays the role of She in SCREAMES OF A BIRD…, in addition to having written the script together with Jon Erik Myre.
